Soo Greyhounds GM Kyle Dubas announced Friday morning that the club has completed a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs.

In the deal the Hounds acquire LC JACOB SMITH in exchange for Sault Ste. Marie’s 14^th Round selection in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

Smith, originally Kingston’s 7^th Round selection in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection appeared in 58 games for the Fronts one season ago. The Sudbuy, ON native tallied 1 goal and 6 assists during that time.
During the 2010-11 season, Smith appeared in 61 games for the Sudbury Wolves Minor Midgets tallying 38 goals and 32 assists, good for 70 points along with 44 minutes in penalties.
