The OHL draft bolsters several young, talented hockey players which include Connor McDavid, Eric Cornel, Jared McCann, Roland McKeown, Josh Ho-Sang, and Robby Fabbri. The Greyhounds have a plethora of players to choose from, each player bringing different skills to the ice and character off the ice.
The Greyhounds will choose fourth overall behind Erie, Kingston and Peterborough. The Hounds also hold the 18th pick in both the second and third round while the fourth round will be the busiest for the Greyhounds as they will pick 4th, 5th and 11th.

In the past four years, the Greyhounds have chosen Darnell Nurse (2011), Gianluca Curcuruto (2010), Daniel Catenacci (2009) and Brock Beukeboom (2008) in the first round of the draft. The Greyhounds will look to add that sought-after member to the organization but nothing will be certain on who they choose until the Greyhounds are called upon to make their choice on Saturday morning.
